Grove City Veterinary Hospital has been serving the pets of Grove City, Ohio, and surrounding areas since 1975! Since then our team has grown to include two full-time veterinarians and a well-trained staff of veterinary nurses, assistants, and customer service representatives. • As a Veterinary Assistant, you will:
  • Assist veterinarians in medical procedures.
  • Obtain patient histories, record vital signs, and provide client education.
  • Collect and process laboratory samples; perform in-house diagnostics.
  • Take and maintain radiographs using proper safety protocols.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
  • Provide safe animal handling (using Fear-Free and Low Stress Handling techniques) and compassionate patient care.
  • Maintain clean, organized exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment.
  • Communicate clearly with doctors and team members regarding patient care plans and client concerns.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently (more with assistance).
• Commitment to OSHA safety standards and proper PPE use.
• Basic computer proficiency, working knowledge or willingness to learn EzyVet PiMS software, Vetcove Home Delivery, PetDesk, and Idexx bench top machines.
