Fulton Animal Hospital is a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital serving Canal Fulton and neighboring communities since 1956. Our hospital provides services for cats, dogs, chickens, sheep, and goats. We’ve got you covered from preventative care, health certificates, surgery, and dentistry; to X-ray, ultrasound, and laser therapy.
Over the years, our hospital has grown into a multiple-doctor practice, dedicated to offering the most up-to-date medical treatments while maintaining our hometown feel. Our skilled and knowledgeable staff proudly serve our clients and their pets.
The Registered Veterinary Technician performs a critical role in providing high quality care for patients. Registered Veterinary Technicians are key partners to the veterinarians, providing the appropriate support to ensure each client interaction and procedure is seamless and successful. Credentialed Technicians apply their professional skills in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, laboratory testing, patient nursing, and client education.
Anticipated schedule is 4 days per week (9-10 hours with a lunch break). Possible rotating Saturdays (8am - 1pm).
The ideal candidate will have previous medical experience with companion animals (dogs and cats). Previous experience with exotics, pocket pets, and farm animals is ideal but not required. If the candidate does not have prior experience, they must have a willingness to learn how to provide care for these types of patients. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently but also have a team mindset and understand that we grow but lifting each other up.
