More about the Role

We are a fast-paced, growing, two-doctor veterinary practice in Lake Park, Florida seeking a Full-Time Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with strong surgical experience to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated technician who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about patient care, efficiency, and team development.


What We’re Looking For:
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred
Strong hands-on surgical experience (anesthesia monitoring, prep, recovery, instrumentation)
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Ability and willingness to help train and mentor current team members
Strong communication and leadership skills
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude


Responsibilities Include:
Surgical anesthesia monitoring and patient care
Assisting in surgery and dentistry
Running technician appointments and supporting exam rooms
Training and guiding support staff
Maintaining high standards of patient safety and hospital efficiency


Compensation & Benefits:
Up to $23/hour, depending on experience and CVT status

Essential Responsibilities

  • Surgical anesthesia monitoring and patient care

  • Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • State license to work as a certified/licensed/registered veterinary technician in state of desired employment
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance
  • Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE
  • Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS office applications, etc.
  • Basic math and ability to calculate medication dosages
  • Strong communication skills to ensure patient safety
