A Rare Dual-Practice DVM Opportunity: Pensacola + Walton County

This flexible role allows you to enjoy coastal Florida life while making a meaningful impact in a community that truly values its veterinarians.

Pensacola (1 Day/Week)

A bright, well-equipped practice with experienced technicians who handle much of the patient flow—giving you real support in appointments, surgeries, radiology, and daily tasks. Pensacola offers beach living, festivals, outdoor activities, and easy airport access.

Walton County Animal Clinic (3 Days/Week)

A beloved, nearly 40-year practice in DeFuniak Springs. The team is welcoming, the clients are loyal, and the environment is calm, friendly, and team-oriented. The clinic features digital and dental radiographs, therapeutic laser, Idexx in-house lab, electrosurgery, and more.

This role includes a $75,000 sign-on bonus, competitive pay, and the chance to shape the future of a community clinic while also enjoying the energy and convenience of Pensacola.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
  • Maintain patients’ medical records.
  • Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited school.

  • State veterinary license (or eligibility).

  • DEA license (or eligibility).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted (more with help).

Pay Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
