Essential Responsibilities

 

  • Designs, implements, and runs standardized FP&A processes and reporting frameworks across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles. Ensures reporting is accurate, timely, and actionable.
  • Oversees development and delivery of Monthly Operating Reports (MORs), board materials, and other executive-level reporting packages.
  • Leads the annual budgeting process and rolling forecast cycles; ensures alignment with long-term strategy.
  • Provides financial leadership during critical events (e.g., hurricanes, natural disasters, acquisitions, operational transitions) with rapid impact assessments and recovery tracking.
  • Leverages Vena Solutions to streamline financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis across 350+ locations.
  • Develops and maintains key performance metrics dashboards (Revenue, EBITDA, Tier 1 practices, DVM capacity, etc.) to monitor organizational performance.
  • Partners with Operations leaders on regular financial reviews; provides insights on business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Identifies trends, gaps, and growth opportunities; proposes financial solutions to maximize returns and ensure sustainability.
  • Provides leadership and mentorship to a team of analysts; builds FP&A capabilities across the organization.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners (HR, IT, Accounting) to improve data accuracy, streamline processes, and enhance system integration.
  • Leads special projects and strategic initiatives as identified by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

Requirements/Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree with 7–10+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or related field.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and run financial processes and standardized reporting at scale.
  • Strong experience with Vena Solutions or advanced Excel (including macros) and BI tools.
  • Demonstrated success in executive-level reporting and board presentations.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear executive insights.
  • Track record of leading financial change, and delivering process improvements.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Pay Range

USD $170,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
