A Little About Us (and a lot about heart)
At Avalon Family Vet, we live up to our name — “family” isn’t just a word, it’s a way of being. Whether you’re a team member, a client, or a four-legged friend, you’re treated like one of our own. We offer top-tier veterinary care with warmth, compassion, and connection — and it shows. We were proudly voted the #1 Animal Hospital in Avalon Park in 2021, and we’ve only continued to grow since then.
We’re nestled in sunny Orlando, serving Avalon, Union Park, and surrounding communities with modern medicine and old-school kindness. With a newly remodeled, expanded space and upgraded technology (hello, paperless records, digital x-rays, and shiny new IDEXX lab machines!), we’re excited to welcome a part-time Associate DVM to help us care for our ever-growing patient family.
Whether you’re a seasoned clinician looking to ease into fewer hours, a parent wanting to be present for soccer games and school pickups, or just someone who values balance, this is the place for you.
Flexible scheduling that fits your life – we really mean it.
Surgery optional (you choose your scope!) — we have great referral partners and traveling surgeons for advanced cases.
No overnights or on-call expectations.
Collaborative team culture led by supportive DVMs who value boundaries and wellness just as much as high-quality medicine.
A modern facility with the tools you need — without the corporate red tape.
